Foreign Policy

War is a racket- plain and simple. We are spending nearly $1 Trillion a year on illegal and unjustified wars that were based on lies. Our actions overseas have proved over and over again that regime change does not work. We have only created more instability and in the process, we have killed over a million innocent people in just the last few decades. Although these decisions are made at a federal level, there are steps we can take at a state level to cultivate peace and diplomacy.

Together we will:

Petition the federal government to end the wars and restore the ability to declare war with congress where it belongs
Ban military recruitment in schools statewide
Ban defense contractors like Raytheon from operating within the state and from donating to political candidates for office
Fully Fund Veterans Services in Massachusetts to finally provide care and benefits to veterans in a serious way
