Gun Violence Prevention
It is a disgrace that mass shootings have become a frequent occurrence and that we must live in fear of being victimized by such an avoidable tragedy. We cannot allow the purposeful misinterpretation of the second amendment by some to justify inaction. Massachusetts has some of the best gun control laws but we can go further:
Together we will:
- Raise the eligibility age for gun-ownership from 15 to 21
- Enact a gun buy-back program
- In light of the conservative Supreme Court's rolling back on important policies, we need to commission a review of all state gun laws in an effort to protect the common sense gun legislation that we've enacted
